SPRING CONCERT 2025

Clifton High School’s annual Spring Concert at St George's Bristol

Clifton High School’s 2025 Spring Concert was a spectacular showcase of exceptional musical talent from our Senior School pupils and Sixth Form students.

The joys of Spring descended upon St. George’s Bristol on Wednesday 19th March as musical members of Clifton High School’s Senior School performed in this year’s annual Spring Concert. Bringing the impressive hall to life for a beautiful evening of live music, it showcased the talent and dedication of our participating pupils as the audience were treated to a well-curated mix of classic and contemporary pieces. Arranged by the Head of Senior Music, Mrs Donia Pieters, Coordinator for Academic Music (Years 7-11) and Teacher of Music, Mrs Maria Johnson and Mr Andrew Cleaver, Head of Infant and Junior School Music, their musical direction and professionalism was evident in the confidence of the children.

The venue was uplifted as audience members were invited to participate in the Chamber Choir and Sixth Form Choir’s renditions of Fast Car by Tracy Chapman, the Swing Band’s interpretation of Tequila by Chuck Rio, as well as swaying by torch light to the tune of Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ ‘Die with a Smile’. It was an event that perfectly displayed the united community and ethos that sits behind an education at Clifton High School; the sheer energy and sense of individual brilliance from the performing pupils together with the support and encouragement from family members delivered a most enjoyable evening.

Our thanks go to all the performers as well as Clifton High School teaching staff members for their unwavering guidance and St George’s administrative, stage and lighting teams for accomplishing such a well organised event.
