The impact of philanthropy
Parents, friends and our alumni body, the Clifton Rosarians, have consistently shown their support to Clifton High School. Over the decades, philanthropy has shaped our physical environment and enabled us to establish transformative bursaries and scholarships, changing the lives of so many pupils.
Below are a series of projects that are examples of the difference you have made:
New technology for our youngest learners
Recently, we have significantly invested in improving access to new technology across our Infant and Junior School. We have funded two new touch tables for The Hive Pre-School and Reception classes as well as innovative coding kits in the Junior School.
“Technology and digital capability embedded into the heart of Clifton High School is critical and enables staff and pupils to be capable leaders now and in the future. This is the reason why I feel so passionate about supporting the School's drive to provide new technology and digital learning systems across the Infant and Junior School."

1963 Development Fund
In 1963 Clifton High School launched an ambitious and successful appeal to improve facilities across our campus. The aim of the appeal was to raise £76,000 to fund the building of:
- an indoor swimming pool
- domestic science and music block
- library
- improvements across School Green
Rosarian success - the difference you have made
During their education at Clifton High School, Kate and Izzy trained in Artistic Swimming in our on-site indoor Swimming Pool. Competing at the 2021 Tokyo and 2024 Paris Olympics, Kate and Izzy won an historic silver medal for Team GB in Paris 2024.
“The on-site swimming pool is an amazing facility that afforded us the opportunity to pursue our ambitions whilst still at School. During lockdown, conforming to government guidelines, we were able to use the pool when we had nowhere else to train. This really saved our journey to the Olympics.”

Supporting pupils, whatever their family's financial situation
We have strived to open our School gates to families with a thirst for knowledge, irrespective of theIr financial means. Our belief, in the importance of accessibility and inclusivity has been, and always will be, woven into the fabric of Clifton High School.

Following a degree in Law and a Masters in Psychology, Jade found her passion in the realms of Business Psychology and Organisational Development.
“Clifton High School helped mould the person I am today; the teachers taught me to be bold, confident and reach for the heights to pursue my dreams. I was given a wonderful opportunity, and I am eternally grateful for the support I was given, as I wouldn't have been able to attend Clifton High School without financial help.”

The gift of a legacy - supporting future generations
Gifting through wills has played a pivotal role in shaping Clifton High School, enabling us to grow our facilities and support pupils with life-changing bursaries. Legacy gifts have enabled us to continue to provide an outstanding learning experience for our pupils today, and for generations to come.
“Music has always been integral to our School community. Thanks to a recent legacy, we have been able to purchase five new pianos, including a grand piano in our main hall, ensuring we have first-class facilities to support our talented students.”
