Co-Curricular

INFANT SCHOOL CO-CURRICULAR

Our offerings broaden horizons, encourage interests and hone essential skills.

Co-curricular is an essential programme of life at Clifton High School, providing a profoundly enriching experience for all participating children.

With an extensive array of co-curricular clubs, thoughtfully categorised into Skills Development, Academic Progress and Individual Brilliance, we wholeheartedly encourage participation in all three spheres.

Embracing a holistic approach to individual growth, we cater to a diverse range of interests, aspiring to ignite in our pupils an engaged and empathetic response to the world around them. We aim to nurture well-rounded individuals who thrive on inspiration and professional development.

Our youngest children in the Infant School have a bespoke co-curricular programme tailored to their needs and interests, providing them with the opportunity to explore this important aspect of School life.

SPORT

Many sporting clubs complement and expand upon our curriculum. We also offer sports clubs that reflect current trends and the interests of our children, encouraging them to try a sport they may never have thought of or had the opportunity to participate in. These clubs include Tennis, Swimming, Taekwondo, Dance, Rounders and Basketball.

The valued and esteemed sporting partnerships we have with the University of Bristol, Henleaze Performance Swimming Club, and Bristol Sport allow our children to learn from experienced professionals beyond their academic education.

MUSIC & PERFORMANCE

A passion for the arts at Clifton High School is embraced with several musical and performance clubs that see our pupils and community members unite to collaborate in a commitment to the arts.

Visiting Music Teachers provide our pupils with individual lessons that build upon technical skills and encourage performance confidence.
