Year 7 visited the Bristol Hindu Temple on Thursday 18th May to gain a first-hand understanding of the Hindu religion. Pupils had the opportunity to look around the temple and observe Hindu worship and practices as well as learning about religious artefacts.
The visit also provided pupils with the chance to develop their understanding of Hindu deities and symbolism. Eve from Year 7 said, “A very enjoyable visit. We got to see how Hindus pray and saw different artefacts which were said to wake up the gods.”
