On Wednesday 27th September, Year 6 children participated in a Shakespeare Schools Workshop at Redgrave Theatre. The drama and performance workshop began with some quick vocal and physical warm ups and then the children spent a few minutes thinking about how to full engage and capture an audience. Children performed the opening scene to Macbeth and listened to tips from the facilitators.
The day ended with Year 6 children reflecting on the changes that had taken place during the scene, and what ideas and techniques they planned to take forward into rehearsals. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day and Year 6 are looking forward to getting focused and bringing the show alive!
