Last Friday, as well as celebrating Red Nose Day 2019, Years 3 -6 enjoyed an Enrichment Day. Their lessons focused on life skills and, honouring the current exhibition at Bristol Museum, also included some special Leonardo Da Vinci themed activities
The children were introduced to many experiences for the first-time including making and using quill pens in the style of Da Vinci; sewing; tie and shoelace fastening; and First Aid. They also learnt about numerous new topics including phonology, money sense, lifesaving, peer pressure and road safety. An Enrichment Study Programme will continue for the children for the rest of the term, with sessions on a Wednesday afternoon; they can look forward to learning about camping and orienteering soon.
