Year 2 children participated in a castle-themed day to mark the end of their topic work. The children came to School dressed in themed outfits, including jesters, servants, knights, lords and ladies.
Children took part in a variety of engaging activities during the day such as sword fighting contests, medieval dancing and jousting. This year, they were also joined by accomplished juggler, Freddie, from Year 9, who gave the children a demonstration of his impressive juggling skills.
The day ended with a medieval banquet where the children ate lunch on traditional bread plates. Such an enjoyable day for all concerned!
