Year 12 Art students visited Weston College’s Summer Show on Tuesday 20th June to see artworks produced by students from their wide variety of art and design courses, such as the Diploma in Art Foundation Studies and BA (hons) Contemporary Art Practice.
Clifton High students were impressed by the variety and quality of the artwork on show and the excellent specialist facilities that Weston College has. The college is affiliated to the prestigious UAL (University of the Arts London) which includes famous art and design colleges such as Central St Martins.
Several students are considering continuing their art and design education after A levels so the visit helped them see what courses are available. The exhibitions also gave them valuable inspiration and ideas for their A level projects next term. We would like to thank the Faculty of Creative Arts for making us so welcome.
