On Friday, the Masterclass Bus visited Christ Church C of E Primary School to deliver a Textiles Masterclass. The topic for the day was ‘Creating a Memory’ to help capture pupils’ time at their primary school.
The masterclass was greeted with enthusiasm by the Year 6 pupils, who were given the opportunity to decorate a drawstring bag using name and logo stencils prepared with a laser cutter. The pupils decorated their individual bags using fabric pens and were encouraged to add further embellishments, such as sewing on beads or using different fabrics.
Clifton High staff were very impressed with the quality of the finished work and the creative abilities of the pupils at the school.
