After six succesful years of our annual event; Marquee Week, we are pleased to announce that in 2019 we will be focusing on the arts, and for this year only, hosting a special event in its place;
The Festival of Music, Performance and Arts
This exciting and creative School week for pupils and families, will feature workshops, lessons and special events showcasing and celebrating music, performance and arts at Clifton High School.
Guests during the Festival will include; James Mayhew, celebrated illustrator and author of children’s books; Mike Gunton, Creative Director of the BBC’s Natural History Unit and Executive Producer of Planet Earth II and Dynasties; British singer-songwriter Michael Baker; and producer Dan Brown.
We are also pleased to share that the critically acclaimed Docklands Sinfonia Orchestra will be working with the pupils throughout the week and will be a part of the Festival Finale Concert for families, held at Clifton Cathedral on the Friday evening.
Clifton High parents and families will be receiving further details and the full schedule of the Festival imminently, including the Festival Finale Concert on the Friday evening, which all parents are invited to attend.
We look forward to welcoming Marquee Week back in 2020.
