Last Thursday, Mr P.G. Bell came to talk to Junior School pupils about his new book ‘The Train to Impossible Places’.
In the story, sensible Suzy finds herself in a world where physics becomes fuzzics, trains are powered by exploding bananas and run by bears and trolls, and parcels contain dangerous surprises…
The children were thoroughly interested in Mr Bell’s explanation of how he created this story and they were inspired to enthusiastically contribute ideas for another story about a different train to a new improbable place.
Thank you Mr Bell for visiting Clifton High; we look forward to welcoming you back when the sequel is published!
